Houmous de pois jaunes et graines de tournesol grillés au poivre de Cayenne

Yellow Pea Hummus and Roasted Sunflower Seeds with Cayenne Pepper

Servings : 2 to 4 people

Ingredients

  • Yellow peas Si Facile well rinsed and drained - 1 jar of 500 ml
  • Chopped garlic cloves - 2
  • Tahini butter - 1/4 cup
  • Lemon juice - 3 tbsp
  • Olive oil - 2 tbsp
  • Water - 1/4 cup
  • Salt and pepper - to taste
  • Sunflower seeds - 1/2 cup
  • Cayenne pepper - 1 tsp

Preparation

  1. In a skillet over high heat, toast the sunflower seeds with the cayenne pepper for a few minutes.
  2. Allow the sunflower seeds to cool.
  3. In an electric blender, puree the yellow peas, garlic, tahini butter, lemon juice, olive oil and water until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Place the mixture in a bowl.
  4. Sprinkle the hummus with sunflower seeds. Drizzle with olive oil. Enjoy with pitas, raw vegetables, in a sandwich, etc. Enjoy!
