Ingredients
- Yellow peas Si Facile well rinsed and drained - 1 jar of 500 ml
- Chopped garlic cloves - 2
- Tahini butter - 1/4 cup
- Lemon juice - 3 tbsp
- Olive oil - 2 tbsp
- Water - 1/4 cup
- Salt and pepper - to taste
- Sunflower seeds - 1/2 cup
- Cayenne pepper - 1 tsp
Preparation
- In a skillet over high heat, toast the sunflower seeds with the cayenne pepper for a few minutes.
- Allow the sunflower seeds to cool.
- In an electric blender, puree the yellow peas, garlic, tahini butter, lemon juice, olive oil and water until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Place the mixture in a bowl.
- Sprinkle the hummus with sunflower seeds. Drizzle with olive oil. Enjoy with pitas, raw vegetables, in a sandwich, etc. Enjoy!
