Houmous de pois jaunes aux oignons caramélisés

Yellow pea hummus with caramelized onions

Servings : 2 to 4 people

Ingredients

  • Yellow peas Si Facile well rinsed and drained - 1 jar of 500 ml
  • Onions cut into quarters - 2
  • Chopped garlic cloves - 2
  • Tahini butter - 1/4 cup
  • Lemon juice - 3 tbsp
  • Olive oil - 4 tbsp
  • Water - 1/4 cup
  • Smoked paprika - 2 tbsp
  • Salt and pepper - to taste

Preparation

  1. In a frying pan, caramelize the onions in 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
  2. Meanwhile, in an electric blender, puree the yellow peas, garlic, tahini butter, lemon juice, olive oil and water until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Place the mixture in a bowl. Sprinkle the hummus with caramelized onions and paprika.
  4. Enjoy with naan bread, raw vegetables, rusks, etc.!
