Yellow pea hummus with pomegranate and parsley

Ingredients

  • Yellow peas Si Facile well rinsed and drained - 1 jar of 500 ml
  • Chopped garlic cloves - 2
  • Small French shallot, cut in half - 1
  • Tahini butter - 1/4 cup
  • Lemon juice - 3 tbsp
  • Olive oil - 2 tbsp
  • Water - 1/4 cup
  • The seeds of a pomegranate
  • Fresh parsley leaves - 1 cup
  • Salt and pepper - to taste

Preparation

  1. In an electric blender, puree the yellow peas, garlic, French shallot, tahini butter, lemon juice, olive oil and water until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Place the mixture in a bowl.
  3. Sprinkle the hummus with pomegranate seeds and fresh parsley. Drizzle with olive oil.
  4. Enjoy with a baguette, in a pita, etc!
