Des pâtes crémeuses au pesto de basilic, cajou et jalapeno avec pois jaunes

Creamy Pasta with Basil, Cashew and Jalapeno Pesto and Yellow Peas

Ingredients

  • Yellow peas Si Facile well rinsed and drained - 1 jar of 500 ml
  • Basil leaves - 2 cups
  • Chopped Jalapeno - 1 (optional)
  • Garlic clove - 1
  • Cashews - 1/2 cup
  • Olive oil - 6 tbsp
  • Pasta cooking water - 1/2 cup
  • Salt and pepper - to taste
  • Fusili Paste - 200 g
  • Cheese of your choice - for serving

Preparation

  1. Cook the pasta according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  2. In an electric blender, puree the basil, jalapeno, garlic, cashews and olive oil into pesto. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Drain the pasta. Keep the water. Return the pasta to the pot.
  4. Add the pesto and yellow peas. Mix well and gradually add cooking water until you have a smooth sauce.
  5. All that's left is to serve with cheese. Enjoy!
