Brownies décadent aux haricots

Decadent Bean Brownies

Preparation time : 10 minutes
Cooking time : 30 minutes
Servings : 6 to 8 people

Ingredients

  • Si Facile Black Beans, well rinsed and drained - 1 jar of 500 ml 
  • Eggs - 3
  • Maple syrup - ½ cup
  • Canola oil - ¼ cup
  • Cocoa powder - ½ cup
  • Coarsely chopped walnuts - ½ cup
  • Semi-sweet chocolate chips - ½ cup (or semi-sweet chocolate chips)
  • Vanilla - 1 tsp

Preparation

  1. Place rack in center of oven. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Line with parchment paper or grease an 8-inch (20 cm) square baking pan.
  2. In a blender, puree the black beans, eggs, maple syrup and vegetable oil until smooth.
  3. Transfer the bean mixture to a large bowl and add the remaining ingredients. Mix well.
  4. Spoon brownie mixture into pan. Bake for 30 minutes or until center is cooked.
  5. Let cool. Unmold and serve. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Freezes very well!
  • Black beans can also be used.
