Soupe aux légumes, pois jaunes, sauce soya et sésame

Vegetable soup, yellow peas, soy sauce and sesame

Ingredients

  • Si Facile Yellow Peas, well rinsed and drained - 1 jar of 500 ml
  • Diced Tomatoes - 1 can of 796 ml
  • Diced Onions - 1
  • Clove of Garlic, minced - 2
  • Carrots, small diced - 3
  • Stalk of Celery, small diced - 3
  • Jalapeno, minced - 1
  • Vegetable Broth - 3 cups
  • Soy Sauce - 2 tbsp
  • Sesame Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Olive Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Salt and Pepper - to taste

Preparation

  1. In a large saucepan, sweat the onion for a few minutes in the olive oil. Add the garlic and continue cooking for 2 minutes.
  2. Add the carrots, celery and jalapeno. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring frequently.
  3. Add the vegetable stock, yellow peas, tomatoes, soy sauce and olive oil.
  4. Bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and cover. Simmer for 15 minutes, or until the vegetables are cooked.
  5. Adjust the seasonings. Enjoy!

Freezes very well!
