Ingredients
- Si Facile Black Beans, well rinsed and drained - 1 jar of 500 ml
- Butter - 2 tbsp
- Onion, finely diced - 1
- Chopped garlic cloves - 3
- Mushrooms of your choice, quartered - 500 g (shiitake, chanterelle, Paris, cremini, oyster mushrooms, etc.)
Cooking cream - 1 cup (I use soy cream) - Nutmeg - 1 tsp
- Chopped fresh parsley - 2 tbsp
- Grated sharp cheddar - 2 cups
- Salt and pepper - to taste
Preparation
- Place the rack in the center of the oven and preheat to 450°F (230°C).
- In a large ovenproof skillet, caramelize the onions in the butter. Add the garlic and stir for 3 minutes.
- Add the mushrooms and cook over medium heat until they have lost all their water.
- Add the black beans, cooking cream, nutmeg and parsley. Season with salt and pepper. Mix well.
- Sprinkle with cheese.
- Place the skillet in the oven for about 10 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- Let stand for 5 minutes. Enjoy!
