Poêlée crémeuse de champignons et haricots noirs gratinée

Creamy mushroom and black bean gratin

Ingredients

  • Si Facile Black Beans, well rinsed and drained - 1 jar of 500 ml 
  • Butter - 2 tbsp
  • Onion, finely diced - 1
  • Chopped garlic cloves - 3
  • Mushrooms of your choice, quartered - 500 g (shiitake, chanterelle, Paris, cremini, oyster mushrooms, etc.)
    Cooking cream - 1 cup (I use soy cream)
  • Nutmeg - 1 tsp
  • Chopped fresh parsley - 2 tbsp
  • Grated sharp cheddar - 2 cups
  • Salt and pepper - to taste

Preparation

  1. Place the rack in the center of the oven and preheat to 450°F (230°C).
  2. In a large ovenproof skillet, caramelize the onions in the butter. Add the garlic and stir for 3 minutes.
  3. Add the mushrooms and cook over medium heat until they have lost all their water.
  4. Add the black beans, cooking cream, nutmeg and parsley. Season with salt and pepper. Mix well.
  5. Sprinkle with cheese.
  6. Place the skillet in the oven for about 10 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  7. Let stand for 5 minutes. Enjoy!

Notes

Very good served with grilled vegetables!
